As tiny as Montenegro is I found myself twice here on separate trips - once in the south, in Ulcinj and once in the north, in Kotor. Those two parts of the country couldn't be more different. Ulcinj is a beautiful, vibrant beach town on the Adriatic sea. With the majority of the population being Albanian this is actually a Muslim municipality. Although thoroughly touristy, it does take some time to get used this colorful place where people wander the streets in beach wear while the muezzin calls for prayer.
In Kotor in the north on the other hand, you'll find yourself in a stunning medieval old town overlooking the sea, with tiny winding streets and beautiful Christian churches. And one thing Kotor is famous for is its cats! The Cats of Kotor really is a thing and there are tons of cute felines roaming the streets. A purradise for cat lovers! ;)
